CATA Electronics specializes in professionally remanufactured engine control modules (ECMs) for Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit diesel applications.
While we make every effort to ensure product descriptions and compatibility information are accurate, it is the customer's responsibility to verify the correct part number and application before purchasing.
Matching the original part number from your existing module is the most reliable method to confirm compatibility.
Orders and Payment
All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including orders suspected of fraud or pricing errors.
Accepted payment methods may include:

Orders are typically processed during normal business hours. Orders placed after business hours may be processed the following business day.
Shipping
CATA Electronics processes orders as quickly as possible to help minimize equipment downtime.
In-stock products ordered before the daily shipping cutoff may ship the same business day. Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and destination.
Once an order has been shipped, delivery timing is the responsibility of the shipping carrier.
Core Exchange Policy
Many products sold by CATA Electronics require the return of a rebuildable core.
Customers may choose to:
-Send the core first to avoid a core charge, or
-Pay the core charge and receive a refund once the rebuildable core is returned and approved.
Returned cores must be:
-Complete
-Rebuildable
-Free of severe physical damage such as fire damage, excessive corrosion, or missing components
CATA Electronics reserves the right to deny core credit if the returned core is not rebuildable.
Installation and Diagnostics
Customers are responsible for ensuring proper diagnosis before replacing an engine control module.
Engine performance issues may be caused by other components such as wiring, sensors, power supply, or external system faults.
CATA Electronics is not responsible for labor costs, diagnostic time, or additional expenses resulting from incorrect diagnosis or improper installation.
Professional installation is recommended.
Returns and Warranty
Return eligibility and warranty coverage are subject to the specific warranty terms provided with each product.
Eligible products must be returned within 30 days of the original order date.
Products must be returned in accordance with our return procedures and may require inspection prior to approval.
Returned items must not be damaged due to improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modification.
Warranty coverage applies only to the product itself and does not cover labor, vehicle downtime, towing, or any additional damages.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CATA Electronics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
